Meat Bhoona

Meat Bhoona is a signature dish created by ‘Cookizzi’. Here the meat/chicken and spices are cooked in oil without water over slow medium heat. Meat cooked in its own moisture. This process gives the meat a wonderful texture and robust flavour.

No Need to Add:
Just Add:
  1. Take 50 grams of Bhoona Gravy Mix. Add to this 1 cup water. Mix well to make a thick paste and keep aside for 20 minutes.
  2. Add ½ tsp turmeric and ¼ tsp salt to 1 kg meat and cook on medium heat till meat is ¾th cooked. Keep meat and its juice ( Yakhni ) separately.
  3. Heat 200 grams oil in a kadhai and add to this Bhoona paste and cook till oil separates.
  4. Add 3/4th cooked meat pieces to it and cook on slow heat, stirring continuously, till meat is fully cooked and oil separates. This process is called Bhoona.
  5. Finally add yakhni of meat to it and again Bhoono till water dries and meat is coated with spices and fat.
  6. Garnish with ginger pieces and serve hot with Naan and Roti.

Note: If required add salt and Chilly powder as per taste.
